YShorts connects to Google and YouTube only to provide the channel automation features users request — creating Shorts, preparing metadata, uploading videos, and publishing them to selected channels.
YouTube account connection
YShorts requests Google OAuth access only when you choose to connect a YouTube channel. The connection lets us identify the channel you selected and keep uploads tied to the right destination.
Video upload and scheduling
The requested YouTube permissions are used to upload videos, set titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and publish or schedule the content you configure in YShorts.
User control and limited use
Google user data is not sold, used for ads, or used to train AI models. You can disconnect YouTube access at any time from YShorts or your Google security settings.
